Noli (my officemate) and I went to Quiapo for mainly 2 things: find a 50mm prime nikkor lens and quite a food trip.

dumating kame at 930am on a Saturday morning and found all the camera stores along Hidalgo were still closed. So we decided to go to Globe Lumpia House in Quiapo muna. We googled it first sa office kasi we didnt know where the place was. Parati ko tong naririnig sa ermat ko na dito daw masarap na lumpia. Maliit lang na store but they serve the best and the cheapest lumpiang sariwa... and she got that right!!!

Next stop at Mamon Luk's. Since bagong bunot ako, out muna sa mga masyadong maiinit. So we ordered only their special siopao for P70. Malaki ang siopao, but hindi ako naging fan.. even the free sabaw tasted weird for me...

Since 1030 am na, balik ulit kame sa Hidalgo. We asked some of the stores for the 50mm, Mayer, iClick and Henry's.

Henry's got the fairest deal for only P7,900.. Noli was a happy kid. Haha when he was about to test the lens, lowbatt sya. Haha bute na lang they charged the battery because it's really important na matest ang lens...

And this became my instant favorite than the Chowking's milky halo-halo. This one from Mang Inasal got pastillas, saging, macapuno and leche flan.

My Papa J supposed to be Birthday

Well, we dont normally celebrate a birthday of a dead person. How will you celebrate the "birth" if the person is dead already? But today, I would just like to pay tribute to my father.

Pa, if ever you were still alive today I will buy you the most expensive liquor i could ever afford. Well, you deserved it. Before you left us, you made sure there's a roof above our heads. We have a home. Alam naman natin ngayon how expensive to get a house. We didnt grow having too much on our plate, but I am thankful kasi mas naappreciate ko na pagsumikapan mo yung mga bagay na gusto mo :). sayang di ka na nameet ng mga apo mo, si Yanah, Yen-yen at Mei-mei. Same with Kevin. But you must be smiling right now as you see us that we are okay.

Online payment vs sm bills payment

As much as possible I wouldd like to have all my credit cards enrolled to my bpi facility. so the convenience of paying bills is just a click away. just this new card is not yet enrolled, so I got no choice to either get the card enrolled to bpi first or to pay the bill directly to payment center. So as usual, going to the bank is out of my time availability, so ngayon nangangarag ako dahil due date is on the 27th, 2 days from today. If I get the card enrolled to BPI now it will take 24hours before it goes live and I can make any transaction, so kung hintayin mo pa yun baka abutan na ako ng due date.
So today I made an effort to get up earlier than my usual time, and made a trip to SM Hypermarket. Good thing they accept Bankard and cut-off time is until 8:00pm. Too bad, I forgot, BPI atm only allows max 20k withdrawal amount, when in fact I need to pay 47K.... so i have to make another trip to SM Hypermarket again tomorrow. (By the way, this transaction was done by my friend, it wasn't mine).

So by all means ladies and gent, maximize and utilize online payment. For me BPI is still the best bank.

Tadaaaa... well the cost of this tub is P420.. if u would compute, the amount can buy you 3L of icecream... 3kilo manok, 10 kilos of rice.. but the taste is just so flavorful.. sulit kada subo. ♥😘😀😍

Thanks to Chris for making me one of you bridesmaids. Napilitan tuloy akong magpa-make up, which actually felt good...

Isaw time

Sundate. The most favorite part of the week. Bonding time namen ni Kevin. usually, we bike to talipapa palengke. Kaso ngayon flat ang gulong ng bike ko, and wala kame pambomba. Sad noh, may bike pero wala pambomba. Anyway, so may favorite kame na isawan dati malapet sa solville kaso wala na sila. P3/stick lang sila. Mura na masarap na, dirty pa. Hahahaha etong bagong isawan malapet lang sa jollibee at sa chowking at P5/stick..






Next stop, milky halo-halo by chowking..yumminess at P82. He paired it then with siomai and ang favorite nyang buchi.
